Why is my withdrawable amount lower than the current value of my investment?

If you invested in the 9% Long term plan, there is a penalty for early withdrawals:

  • Investments made before October 31, 2022: 2% penalty for withdrawals made before 3 months of investment. The amount you can withdraw will be less than the interest earned due to a penalty. This means you will receive 7% returns instead of 9%.
  • Investments made after October 31, 2022: 1.75% penalty for withdrawals before maturity. The amount you can withdraw will be less than the interest earned due to a penalty. This means you will receive 7.25% returns instead of 9%.
