Is my debit card free under the Salary Program?
Yes, the first Debit Card is free for both Salary and Salary Basic users. However, Salary Basic users need to pay the Debit Card charge of INR 299 + GST while placing an order, which will be refunded to their Federal Bank Savings Account on Fi—only if they have received their salary in Fi and their plan is activated.
Note: If you order a Debit Card before receiving your salary in your Federal bank Savings Account on Fi and before your Salary program is activated, you will be charged, and the amount will not be refunded.
Tip: To avoid any charges, wait until your salary is credited to the Federal bank Savings Account on Fi and your plan is updated before ordering your Debit Card.
