Your account closure request may be on hold if you have Mutual Fund investments linked to your Fi-linked bank account.
To continue managing your investments and allow us to proceed with closure, you must update your bank account details with the AMC through MF Central.
Steps to update your bank account on MF Central
- Visit mfcentral.com.
- Register using your PAN.
- You can log in using OTP, but full registration with PAN and mobile number is required to view all your mutual fund investments.
- During sign-up, set up five security questions. These will be used for additional authentication during login.
- After logging in, go to the “Service Requests” section on the home page.
- Select “Change of Bank Account”.
- You will see all your folios and the bank accounts linked to them. Choose the folio for which you want to update the bank account.
- Enter the new bank account details and upload:
- A coloured scanned cheque of the new bank account
- A cheque of the existing (default) bank account
Important to know
In a single request, you can update only those folios that have the same existing bank details.
- If some folios are linked to different bank accounts, you will need to submit separate requests for each.
What next?
Once your bank account details are successfully updated with the AMC, please complete all the steps mentioned in the account closure email.
After completing all the steps, please inform Fi support so we can proceed with your account closure request.
