How do I disable my UPI?

Worried about your UPI ID getting misused? 

Rest easy; Fi lets you disable your UPI ID in seconds!

  • Tap your profile picture on the top-left of the Home screen. 
  • Now that you're in 'My Profile', tap on the Fi logo in 'My Accounts' 
  • Once there, you'll notice a toggle button near UPI; tap it to disable your UPI ID.

To enable it again, tap the toggle button again!

Need to Know: Once a UPI ID is disabled  

  • your friends will not be able to send you money on the UPI ID. 
  • you won't be able to scan payment-related QR codes at stores or other merchant outlets. 
  • payment collect requests from other apps where your UPI ID may be linked as a mode of payment — like while ordering from Swiggy, or paying cab fare on Uber, etc. — will not go through.
