This method is available only if you have registered your phone number and done your KYC on the UAN portal. To check your PF balance, all you have to do is give a missed call to 9966044425.
PF balance check facility is available through SMS in 10 languages which include English, Gujarati, Punjabi, Hindi, Telugu, Bengali, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, and Malayalam. By simply texting 'EPFOHO UAN TEL' to 7738299899, you will receive the details of your PF account balance. To get balance details in any other language than English, you have to text the first three letters of the language after UAN. For example, 'EPFOHO UAN HIN TEL' for Hindi, PUN for Punjabi, GUJ for Gujarati, MAR for Marathi, MAL for Malayalam, etc.

This is another way you can check your PF balance online. It is through the official government portal EPFO or Employees' Provident Fund Organisation’s website. After a logging in process similar to that of the mobile app, you will be able to find the balance details you need.
Your Universal Account Number (UAN) is a unique identification number, which acts to confirm your identification for your PF account services. Hence, you have to make sure that the employer has activated your UAN. Another thing to note is that your UAN will not change regardless of the company employing you.
Once you know your UAN is activated, go to the EPFO portal. Click on 'Our Services' in the top blue menu. It will open a list of drop-down options. Select the option which says 'For Employees' from there.
Under services, click on member services.
Enter your UAN, and password and do your CAPTCHA verification, to log into the PF account.
The welcome screen will be displayed.
Below at the bottom of the page, you will see 'Select Member ID'. Upon clicking it, you will see another drop down menu with your ID.
Your PF details will be on the screen. You may also take a softcopy of the passbook by clicking on the ‘Download Passbook’ option.

First, you have to download the UMANG app from Google Play Store or App Store and ensure your UAN is activated.
Either in the search bar or in the ‘All Services’ tab, you will find EPFO listed as one of the options. Click on it.
You will see all the contact details of EPFO.
Open EPFO and log into the PF account using your UAN and OTP.
